The children in Mrs.Killkelley's class have been working in small groups to plan pretend trips to Disney World. The objective of this team work is to teach the students how to work cooperatively in groups. Miss Fisher has also been doing skillbuilders with her students and we have both been so impressed with the insightful strategies the children have come up with.
So far they have packed for their trips, chosen their resort, chosen where to eat dinner & what to order, picked their rides for Magic & Animal Kingdom along with picking a water park! For each activity it requires a group consensus and different abilities must be utilized (math, art, imagination, writing, reading, story telling and more!)

Tomorrow we will be planning our final day at Sea World and Friday is our "trip" to Disney! The children will have plane tickets to board the "airplane" and will finalize their trip itinerary as the day they have been working towards is just around the corner.
